Sarah & Richard - May 15, 2012

Eloping is a very romantic idea but up to this point, we hadn't had the pleasure of experiencing that.  Queue, Sarah & Rich who decided to forgo all the stress that comes with planning a big wedding and instead, elope to Tofino.  Just the two of them and their beloved dog, Stogie.  It was so intimate to spend some quality time with just the couple and we really got to get to know this laid back couple.

The festivities kicked off when Sarah & Rich mailed off the invitations to friends and family for a picnic.  These invitations also happened to mention the small detail that they would be married by the time the letters were delivered.  Talk about opening your mail to a big surprise.

Ceremony itself took place in a forested area just outside Tofino's gorgeous Wickaninnish Inn.  While their families weren't present, Sarah & Rich hung photos of them from the trees, surrounding themselves with loved ones smiling faces.  It was one of the most creative and touching displays we've seen in a ceremony (and we've seen our share).

Sit back and enjoy this fantastically relaxed story that starts with a uniquely Canadian, Tim Horton's inspired proposal.
